• Dr Basant has completed his certification program on transplantations from the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS).
• He has received his training in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery from New York Medical College.
• Dr Basant has also completed his training in percutaneous interventional surgery from IRCAD, Strasbourg, France.
• He has received his robotic surgery training from Asan Medical Center, South Korea.
