• Dr Basant is a skilled HPB and liver transplant surgeon, who specialises in performing laparoscopic & robotic liver resections.
• He has vast experience in performing living donor liver transplantation, living and deceased donor kidney transplantation, deceased donor pancreas transplantation and Islet stem cell transplantation.

• Dr Basant has handled over 1000 cases of HPB and gastrointestinal cancers in the last 8 years of practice.

Training and Certifications

• Dr Basant has completed his certification program on transplantations from the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS).
• He has received his training in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery from New York Medical College.
• Dr Basant has also completed his training in percutaneous interventional surgery from IRCAD, Strasbourg, France.
• He has received his robotic surgery training from Asan Medical Center, South Korea.
